Read today’s newspapers? There was this Chinese female who was being attacked by her boyfriend early yesterday morning on her way to work. She was constantly stabbed with a knife, resulting in a bloody scene. That’s not the gruesome part. The shocking thing was there were 5 onlookers, who did nothing to help. When interviewed, they said things like the lady was a poor thing, it was an ugly scene, etc. But they did nothing to help except watch!!! They could at least call up the police, or ask for help from other people, or raise a commotion so that more passers-by come about and the guy may stop? Even if the attacker is violent, surely 5 people is sufficient to counter-attack 1 guy? Where has humanity gone to?
