Crossing the road on the way back from lunch, a lorry made a turn and probably a bread delivery lorry, some crates of bread fell out. And of course, being in CBD area, the driver couldn't stop. For the next few minutes, cars were trying to avoid the particular lane, with a few squashing the bread. And believe it or not, people waiting to cross the road, standing right beside the fallen crates, did not bother to pick them up at all! And so it became slow traffic with the selfishness of these people. Me and colleague then decided to relieve the traffic jam, so crossed the road to pick the crates up. Before we can do so, the driver came back and picked it up. And so Singaporean-Singaporeans, people then started trying to be helpful with the picking up. Ah.
